Resident Evil 4 (2005)


You read that rightーResident Evil 4 for the original Gamecube, PS2, Wii, whatever you wanna play as long as it's the original release and not the dogshit demake that came out in 2023.


Resident Evil 4 singlehandedly innovated the shooter market from then all the way to now, and makes it look fucking easy with how smooth and buttery this shit still plays. While I'm sure that a game which sold 3 million copies within it's first year of release doesn't need to be plugged, even if it's via the world renowned internet reviewist decapitatedDog, I still think it's worth shining yet another spotlight it's way.


Don't allow the stench of age push you away from this game, and don't give in to the temptation of god awful remakes that only exist to siphon your money. Resident Evil 4 plays as fantastically as it did then, with remarkable gunplay and deliciously sexy action leaking from every orifice.
